When "e-Gov" includes everything from whizz-bang portals to (as El Reg puts it) services that have an e-mail address attached to them, it's safe to assume that everyone's thoroughly confused and we need a better way to refer to these kinds of innovations.
Some folks are saying that the next innovation will be iGov, which I mentioned in February. Unfortunately it too is suffering under the weight of its proponent's own bullishness.
